From the Bottom of My Heart

It's time to stop following your heart.

This blood pumping artery pumps blood through your body an average of seventy times a minute, acting as a driving force for hemoglobins and leukocytes alike through the innumerable capillaries of the human vascular structure. Divided into four distinct chambers, two atriums and two ventricles, the human heart is among the most efficient and wonderous of God's creations in the human anatomy. It is the cardiac muscle, designed to regulate blood flow and create a pulse that beats from conception to death without rest in every human being.

and NOT designed as a pseudo-spiritual compass.

It's time to stop telling kids to follow their heart. Kids who follow their hearts become teenagers that follow their hearts, which become teenage parents who follow their hearts, teenage felons that follow their hearts.

Hey, Disney, how about teaching kids to follow some COMMON SENSE? RIGHT and WRONG, maybe? Wait, there isn't right and wrong, because you saw it fit to do away with morals and ethics when they became "old-fashioned", "obsolete".

"Follow your heart, it'll show you what's right."

NO IT WON'T! Your heart is a muscular organ in the middle of your rib cage. As far as conscience is concerned, it's pretty much a vegetable thanks to the efforts of the liberal media and it's poster boy for social change, DISNEY.

"Disney, influencing your impressional children with left-wing propaganda since 1984".

Letter From A Concerned Follower

Dear Society,

It's weird to think of all the things
That have not been keeping up with the times
It's ten o'clock the sun has just now
Begun to set the western hills on fire

And I hear that you don't change
How to you expect to keep up with the trends?
You won't survive the information age
Unless you plan to change the truth
To accommodate the brilliance of men, the brilliance of men

Some folks think we're better now
Social evolution's new synthetic will
Will keep us on a straighter path
As better men use brand new math
With no wrong answers

I'm just a little bit worried
Do you have some sort of plan?
Have you been finally defeated
By the cunning of these fully evolved men?

And I hear that you don't change
How do you expect to keep up with the trends?
You won't survive the information age
Unless you plan to change the truth
To accommodate the brilliance of men, the brilliance of men.

I really think we need help. When nothing is wrong anymore, can anything ever be right? The world is still changing, and unfortunately, I don't think it is for the better.

"Liberals become indignant when you question their patriotism, but simultaneously work overtime to give terrorists a cushion for the next attack and laugh at dumb Americans who love their country and hate the enemy." ~ Ann Coulter

Stupid Left-Wing Democrat Liberal Pinko Commies

I hate anti-Bush sentiment. Canadians against Bush, soldiers against Bush, MoveOn against Bush, gay-lesbian alliance against Bush, (un)planned parenthood against Bush...

oh yeah, and TERRORISTS against Bush.

People, the election is over. Let's support our leadership, shall we?

There was a poll done during the election that showed that somewhere areound 70% of voters would not support the president if he was not the candidate they voted for in November. I believe it. It must be human nature to hold a grudge against someone who beats you in a competition.

But the fact is, GWB won this one, and most celebrities that discuss any politics at all (especially comedians) continually cut Bush down. And why?

Because they feel "threatened" by his policies. Like the war for instance. It reeks of the war in Vietnam. Compare that stupid un-support for our own country with the sentiment in World War II. 1940's era Americans would be shocked and appalled at this. We got accustomed to being the best and so whenever a challenge comes along that could take more than five minutes to solve, there is no shortage in the left-wing biased media of criticism.

Why did we go after Saddam? He was a threat. It wasn't a direct oor indirect link to Al-Queda, it was the fact that Bush pledged to make war against terrorism in general. Saddam was an unbalanced man who had the resources at his disposal to create WMDs. What did we learn from the gulf war?

This isn't about oil. It's about security. This is the man we voted in, deal with it.

All too often

All too often, the little things conquer my finite mind.

All too often, I find myself wondering if there is really a difference between smoked ham and original cut. They both taste similar, if not identical. All too often, I wonder why they make light cigarettes and regular cigarettes if they both taste like nicotine, and they both are potentially deadly? All too often, I lose sleep over the fact that, at just the right temperature, my left thumb becomes slightly longer than my right.

All too often, I battle the urge to put a .45 silver baller bullet between my check bones, of course, however, not before writing everyone I love a letter to remember me by, because that is the only way some people believe they can get the attention they so desperately crave.

All too often, I make the mistake of thinking.

It takes too much time, and Lord knows we're running short on that these days.

Anymore, even time takes time.

All too often.

Merry Selfmas

I hate "christmas spirit".

I'm not talking about your "peace on earth, goodwill to men" either. I'm talking about the crunch of Christmas shopping, macy's day parades, rudolph and santa.

RUDOLPH AND SANTA. The putrid symbols of consumerism and secularism in American christmastime culture.

"I know, instead of focusing on the birth of Jesus Christ, let's throw some parties that celebrate the economy. We can convince children that every good kid gets material goods and all bad kids are punished, except we won't mention poor and starving kids in Sudan or the spoiled kids getting ten million dollar hovercrafts for Christmas. And let's instill the true meaning of Christmas with the media. Presents."

And have you ever noticed that Christmas jingles are the only thing you hear during the two months before Christmas? I know, let's take it up a couple notches on the Politically Correct scale.

0: Celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ
1: Peace on earth, good will toward men
2: Merry Christmas
3: Happy holidays! <-- we have a winner!

This thing has gone too far.

Easter, from Resurrection to "Easter Bunny Day"
Thanksgiving, from a day of thanks to God to "Turkey Day"
All Saints Day, from a celebration of the work of God in our life to "Halloween"
and Christmas. This is a total mess.

We've let the culture redefine the celebration of Christ into consumerism and myth, and I for one would rather skip the holiday traditions.
